This Illinois weather is for the birds!!!
Last week it was 103F in Cotulla, TX where we were gate guarding. Tonight, the low is predicted to be 19F!!
At the moment, we have pulled in the three slide-outs of the RV and are sitting in the truck waiting out a severe thunderstorm with tornado warnings!! Don’t worry though, we have a new bag of Doritos with us!!!
Chris is knitting socks and Ken is scrolling Facebook!
Enjoy the pics!

That sky looks ominous!!

Have a look at the hood of the truck!! It’s a makeshift hail damage preventer!!! It’s a moving blanket covered with a bed sheet and secured on the ends under the hood!

This thing has alarmed more in the past two weeks that it has in the past two years we have been on the road!! It is a NOAA weather radio and every RVer should have one.

Not much space to move around or think when the slides are in!

It’s just a narrow band of severe weather.

Cotulla, TX!!! Whew!

You left your windshield exposed!?
Good point! I was more worried about the dents on the truck.
