Married for over 30 years, Ken & Chris raised five kids in a modest home, in an awesome working-class neighborhood. This blog is a combination of family stories and RV experiences. The pic above includes some significant others and spouses. We hope you enjoy our journey!
This is Our RV
The rig is a 2023 Grand Design Fifth Wheel model 341 RDS. Over the years we had created a list of "must haves" for our RV home, and while no RV is ever going to meet all of your requirements, this model checked "most" of the boxes.
What's the plan?
We are glad you asked! Haha!
On May 24, 2024, both Chris (58) and Ken (56) quit their jobs. Chris was a Registered Nurse for 34 years and Ken was a Fifth Grade Teacher for 20 years. On June 3, 2024, we closed escrow on the home we had lived in for the past 24 years and where we raised our family. By that point we had sold EVERYTHING we owned, aside from what we needed and what would fit in the fifth wheel. We plan to travel the US and earn a basic income by "work-camping" along the way.
