We are really starting to get into “camping season” here in SW Michigan. Up until now, the people around the Sister Lakes hadn’t really come to the lakes because it was still pretty cold and dreary, but this past week has brought quite a few more cars, golf carts, and people around!
Our post this week is a photo collage with picture captions. Please take a moment to check out what we have been up to this week.
Favor~ Can you please comment with “what you are wondering?” We need some ideas for posts!!
Until next time…We RVery Blessed!

We have bookends. You’ll understand, if you look at all the photos! Chef Henry helping his mom make some muffins!

Chris loves to cook and Ken loves to eat! It’s a perfect marriage! Here Chris is cooking breakfast on the Blackstone grill.

One day we went out to try to cut down ONE low-hanging branch on our site. We ended up with a truck bed load of limbs and branches!

We went to Saint Anne’s Catholic Church in Lawton, MI for the first Saturday Mass. St Anne’s is run by the Canons Regular of St John Cantius in Chicago. The Mass was a Low Latin Mass by the 1962 Missal. We follow along with the translation. It is always very interesting. While the mass is spoken softly by the priest, his homily is given in English.

The inside of St Anne’s Chapel in Lawton, MI.

A very cool tribute to Calvary on the grounds of St Anne’s.

After mass, one of the cabin guests mentioned that there was no hot water in the men’s room shower, so “plumber Ken” got his screw driver and channel locks and set to work. At one point he got drenched! He managed to get the job at hand accomplished!!

We did another RV inspection this week. A very nice, brand new KZ Durango Gold!

We went back to the Shipshewana Flea Market, this time with our park owners. We had a great day!!

On our way home from Shipshewana, we introduced Jim & Lori to geocaching! We found this cache on our way home. IT was by far the coolest cache we had ever found and it was Jim & Lori’s FIRST FIND!!!

Ta Daaa!!! Look at this find!!

We had to decipher a combo lock code in order to gain entry to the “jail” and access the stuffed animals, each of which were wearing trackable geocaches!

This is the trackable. We will hide it somewhere else!

Here is Chris with the monkey we scored!

This was a different cache we found. It too was a very cool hide! Jim and Lori asked, “Where are the stuffed animals?

See that sideways glance? His mom just asked him to stir the mixture while she washed some dishes. As soon as Maggie turned her back, Hal dug his hand into the mixture and gave her this side look!

We enjoyed some awesome ice cream at the “Driftwood”. Mmmmmmmm!

Outside the Driftwood, which is just down the road from the campground. It is within walking distance, but we drove! Haha

Dinner after church in Lawton, MI.

OSHA called…They approve!

OSHA called…They give up on us!

Ken got sent home early from “The Strand”, his “one day a week, part-time job. He found a bra along the walk home and came in the campground driveway spinning it in the air!

Our view while having some ice cream!

The OSHA people are having chest pains.

Amish “John Deere” equipment…a three horsepower planter!

This woodpecker took a rest on our office window!

Our other bookend! This is Benson! Isn’t he thriving?!?! Mr Happy with big blue eyes.
