Today is the day!!! It’s Moving Day! We carried the last load of stuff from the house to the RV this morning!!! We are officially Full-time RV Living!!!
Our first stop on our way to the campground in Millbrook, IL was at the Cat Weigh Station in Channahon. Good news! We aren’t overweight!! Ok…we will amend that…the truck, RV, and Chris aren’t overweight! And even better news…the RV itself is 700lbs under GVWR! Now once we minimize the RV we will be in even better shape!
We decided to come to the campground on a Thursday, because the roads are pretty narrow and the turning radius on the F-350 is pretty poor. We will be here for seven weeks so we wanted the rig really straight and level. Plus, we didn’t want people watching us maneuvering!!
After a quick trip back to the house this evening to sell off our bedroom set, we stopped at TWO Home Depots to get 2x12s cut and then went out to eat for dinner! Our full-time budget doesn’t start until June 1 so we are living it up until then! We went to McBride’s on Caton Farm. Little did we know that it was BINGO night! We both played while we ate and we both WON !!!
