Our RV Story:
Over the years, we have owned several different campers and RVs. The one we currently have is a 2023 Grand Design Reflection 341RDS. We bought this rig brand new in August of 2023. When shopping for an RV, finding one that "checks all the boxes" on your list of desires is very difficult. This one checked off MOST boxes. It has four very well-defined spaces; living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. It has adequate storage, a fireplace, and a 12volt residential-sized refrigerator, and it is super easy to tow behind the 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty truck.
Because this RV is our home, and not just a "weekend get-away," we needed to be sure that it could handle all types of weather. We have two rooftop air-conditioners. One is 15,000 BTU and the other is 13,500 BTU. We have a typical propane-fueled furnace that will heat the whole RV, as well as the pass-through storage area where the water bay is located. The fireplace is not just for visual effect, it is also a heater. The underbelly of the RV is sealed with a chloroplast material that helps to keep the underbelly warm as well as protect it from road rash.

Before buying this RV, we owned a 2016 Coachman Freelander 29KS Class "C" motorhome. We bought that RV with friends of ours and we shared the use of it. It was the Class "C" motorhome that brought us to so many amazing places across the country and that lit the spark to consider doing this full-time!
