We will often ask this question at the end of our posts, “What are you wondering about our full-time RV lifestyle?” The following question came in from a follower/friend…
“What are some things you have in the RV that have made the lifestyle more manageable??”
Our answer to this question will be in the photos and photo captions below. Please be sure to check out ALL the pictures!
So…What are you wondering about our full-time RV life? Please comment!

This is the biggest and best RV improvement we have made. When we bought the RV it had two opposing pull-out sofa sleepers. We knew right away that we didn’t want/need two, so we removed the one on the camp side of the RV and bought a desk, chair and filing cabinet. In all these three things, and their contents, weigh much less than the sleeper sofa. Plus, there are three windows in this slide that look out onto the camp side of the RV. As the camp hosts, we refer to this space as the camp office! We encourage you to play “I spy, with my little eye…” with this pic!

Don’t take your city water for granted! We have been places where the water is pretty good and we have also been places where the water is absolutely horrible. We have an in-line water filter in the water bay of the RV and then we filter it through this Brita pitcher for drinking water, coffee and ice!

One of the top three things that has made a big difference in the RV is this ice-maker. While we do have a residential refrigerator, it doesn’t have an ice-maker. We bought this counter-top model and we use it ALL THE TIME!

Controlling the humidity level in an RV is important not only to prevent mold and/or wall damage, but for comfort. We have two dehumitifiers that run 24/7.

This dehumidifier is in the livingroom and is sitting on a stack of something you SHOULD HAVE!! Here’s a hint… https://amzn.to/4kqAnoG

In the cold weather, we can use the fireplace and the propane furnace. But, when we are on full hook-ups (we always are) we prefer to not use the propane furnace, because that is on our dime. Using the fireplace, an electric blanket on the bed and this osciliating heat tower are free, because we don’t pay for our site, nor the electric!

Whether it is hot or cold, we run this oscillating fan to keep the air moving. It runs A LOT.

This is Chef Henry. You have likely seen photos of him in his little apron, helping his mom (Maggie) bake bread or muffins. We sent him the chefs hat to top it all off! BTW…He is 20 months old!

Benson (Benny) would like to say hello! Isn’t he cute?
