Finally…A minute to relax!

These past several days have been busy, but we have found some time to chill and relax! If we don’t have an RV inspection or other RV job lined up, our typical day includes daily mass at one of many different local churches, brunch around noon or 1:00pm and dinner around 6:00pm. Somewhere in there we work on little projects around the fifthwheel. Chris attached a hummingbird feeder to the outside of our “office” window. So far, no hummers, but we have seen some in the park. We typically go for a walk or three around the different roads of the campground. All in all we are really loving life at the moment.

In the almost 32 years that we have been married, we have NEVER been a one-car household. The fewest cars we ever had were two when we were first married, and the most (at one time) was NINE!!! Thank you, old neighbors, for your patience and understanding!!! Well, this past week we sold Chris’ Jeep Patriot and are now a ONE-VEHICLE family! All we have now is the Ford F-350!!! I’m afraid our insurance agent Nick Diorio may be in financial shock!!!

If you know us, you know we enjoy geocaching! We have found three caches this past week. Two of them we walked to from the campground. On one adventure, we had just had dinner when we set out on a 3.2 mile roundtrip journey to find a cache. With the cache discovered we set back to the campground. Soon after starting the return hike, Ken’s bowels shifted into overdrive. He had to make a decision…crap his pants or do like a bear and take care of his business in the woods! Let’s just say…the pants are clean! What did he “wipe” with? Dead undergrowth grass! It was all good!

One of the geocaches we found was in a cemetery. We also came across a unique epithet “SHE WAS HIT BY A DEER.” Sheila was out for a visit so she and her friend Amber helped us. The cache was a tricky one to find!

We had personalized “We RVery Blessed” Facebook stickers made and placed them on the fifth-wheel.

Chris made cinnamon rolls from scratch using our friends Paul and Cathy’s ( Our Adventures ) recipe. They came out DELICIOUS!

Last Sunday evening, we got to spend time with our old PCHS baseball friend Cathy Wagnon and her family. We REALLY had a lot of fun and Dennis served up some DELICIOUS chicken tacos. So good!
